The differences in the semi-custom easels
When it comes to the semi-custom easels, the most common questions we get are, "What is the difference? They all look the same." and, "Which one is better?" We will go over how they are alike, and how they are different.
How they are alike:
All of our BEKA easels are available with your choice of these options:
- Chalkboard, marker board, red plastic trays, cutter
- Chalkboard, marker board, wood trays, cutter
- Chalkboard, magnet board, red plastic trays, cutter
- Chalkboard, magnet board, wood trays, cutter
The magnet board is more expensive than the marker board. Many people feel that the plastic trays are easier to clean. We have found that the wooden trays are more durable. Most people choose for aesthetic reasons. Which do you like? The cutter is simply a wooden bar across the top of the easel that the paper slips beneath. Tearing off your budding Rembrandt's work is much easier with the cutter. It is not sharp.
How they are different:

Please note that the height adjustment is half way up the leg on this easel. This easel is just as strong and durable as the Adjustable Paper Holder Split Leg Easel (below), but is a little bit easier to adjust in height. We would recommend this easel for use where a lot of height adjustments are necessary.

Please note that the height adjustment is behind the trays on this easel. This easel is just as strong and durable as the Adjustable Paper Holder Easel (above), but is a little more difficult (but not much) to adjust in height. We would recommend this easel for use where fewer height adjustments are necessary.

Quick Folding Leg Brace Easel With Paper
